Eatons Solicitors celebrate CQS accreditation (l-r) Paula Cripps, Patricia Langton, Claire Roberts, Yasser Shafi, David Butterfield and Julie MacGregor
A conveyancing expert with more than 25 years of experience has joined an Ilkley legal firm which is celebrating a renewed Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation.
Patricia Langton has joined Eatons Solicitors and brings with her experience in residential transactions as well as assisting investor clients with leasehold properties and freehold acquisition.
David Butterfield, partner and head of the property department at the Church Street-based firm, said: “Patricia is already adding value to our conveyancing team with her dedication to client relationships and experience in all conveyancing matters.
“The residential property market can be an incredibly stressful time and is often the most expensive purchase someone can make; our team of experts in Ilkley are here to eliminate any worries involved and ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible. We’re incredibly proud to have once again received the Law Society’s CQS accreditation and provide our clients with a safe, reliable and efficient service.”
The Law Society CQS accolade is given to legal experts who have taken part in an online training programme which involves assessments, compulsory training, random audits and annual reviews.
“We ensure our clients are updated every step of the way and our CQS backing can mean the process is even quicker for them as it’s an industry standard recognised by lenders and insurers too. Homebuyers or sellers can even get a free no obligation quote via our conveyancing fee estimating tool on our website to ease into the process,” added David.
Law Society President Christina Blacklaws said that the organisation introduced CQS to promote high standards in the home buying process.
"The process of buying and selling a home is probably the largest transaction that most people undertake in their lives. CQS has established itself as the quality mark of the home-buying sector and enables consumers to identify practices which have met the Society’s standards in residential conveyancing. With so many different conveyancing service providers out there, CQS helps home-buyers and sellers make informed choices in the legal services market."
