About This Role

1. Main Purpose

To provide a professional service and advice to clients on all aspects of the buying, selling and leasing process, including legal issues, finances and contracts in line with Eatons policies and procedures

2. Key Responsibilities

i. Communicating with the clients to give the best advice and recommendations on how to proceed with all aspects of commercial conveyancing transactions.

ii. Carrying out searches and checks on title, ensuring there are no issues, and reporting to the client.

iii. Communicating with agents, other solicitors and third parties.

iv. Competent handling of your own case load from instruction to completion.

v. Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates.

vi. Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards mortgages.

vii. Accurate preparation of completions statements, invoices in accordance with accounting procedures.

viii. Keeping the client updated throughout the process.

3. Personal Specification

i. Qualifications

Qualified legal executive, licensed conveyancer, solicitor or QBE

ii. Skills

Good all round IT skills – Microsoft office – word, excel etc.

Working knowledge of case management systems, diaries and tasks.

Excellent communication skills

iii. Experience

Commercial Conveyancing 8+ years preferred

iv. Personal Qualities

Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed

Self-confident, reliable and conscientious with good attention to detail.

Smart and professional dress and demeanour.
